Canada Vacations; An Excellant Destination Part 3
In the last of this series of Canada vacations
, I will highlight other interesting destinations to consider for a visit to Canada. One of my absolute favorite vacation destinations is Banff, Alberta. This is a beautiful town nestled in the Canadian Rockies, which is celebrating 125 years of being Canada’s first national park. When you visit the quaint shops you again feel like you’ve been transported to another time and place. Banff offers natural sulphur hot springs, a beautiful alpine climate, and a magnficent glacier lake known as Lake Louise. With its sparkling turquoise waters, Lake Louise sits at the base of the towering Victoria Glacier. Winter activities include skiing, ice skating and snowmobileing, and fishing, hiking, canoeing and wine tasting in the summer. You can also experience many cultural activities in the arts, local events, festivals, and Banff’s history.
Saskatchewan is a Canadian province that offers many cultural attractions including museums and national parks. Consider visiting the Mendel Art Gallery and the Buffalo Pound Provincial Park.
Manitoba is a wonderful summer destination, with its abundant lakes and resorts, including the locals favorite, Minnedosa Lake.
When you visit Ontario, you cannot miss visiting Niagra Falls. There you can see both the Canadian and United States sides of the falls.
And last, but not least, a visit to Canada includes destinations in the furtherest eastern region of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland. These are Canada’s maritime provinces and offer a very unique experience. You’ll find many naval centers in Nova Scotia, including Peggy’s Cove, Halifax and Dartmouth. Prince Edward Island offers views like no others and makes for a memorable vacation visit.
Canada Vacations; An Excellent Destination Part 2
In this next article on Canada vacations; for the wildlife enthusiast, Canada holds unique adventures. These adventures happen for only a few weeks in the fall. In the Great Bear Rainforest, in western British Columbia, you have the opportunity to watch Grizzly bears come out of the forest to hunt along the rivers for salmon as they struggle upstream to spawn. At the same time, in Manitoba, on the shores of the Hudson Bay, you can see Polar Bears gathering, waiting for the great freeze that heralds winter time.
Inland, close to Alberta, you can enjoy natural sulphur hot springs at Radium or Fairmount. While in Alberta, you can also visit Calgary, famous for its’ annual Calgary Stampede, held in the second week of June. After a day at the Stampede, you can have a pleasant dinner at the famous Calgary Tower, in the revolving restaurant that gives you a 360 degree view of the city.
Canada Vacations; An Excellent Destination Part 1
Canada, being the second largest country in the world, has a vastness of land that may seem overwhelming. But much of the northern half of the country is uninhabited wilderness, so don’t let the overall size of the country throw you.
Canada vacations
offer a wide range of experiences and a variety of activites. Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver are large, metropolitan areas offering an urban lifestyle that’s part European, part American and part French.
Toronto is a business hub, offering amenities of sports areans, residential communities, retail shopping and any activity found in a large city. Take in a hockey game, or go to the theatre. Montreal is Quebec’s older, largest city. During the summer months with warmer, milder tempertures, take advantage of walking through Old Montreal with it’s cobblestone streets and buildings that were erected hundreds of years ago. Wondering through this area will be like traveling back in time, and it will feel like you crossed the ocean to old Europe.
Are Vacation Memberships The Death Of Timeshares?
If any of you out there are like me, I LOVE to go on vacation! Vacation time gives you the opportunity to see new sites, partake in new adventures, find out about different cultures, taste the local foods, and just relax and enjoy a different pace of life. Many years ago, a timeshare was the affordable way to have the space to enjoy a resort vacation. But on the rise are vacation memberships
which are replacing the antiquated timeshare programs.
The reason? Originally, a timeshare had a reasonable buy-in cost of a few thousand dollars, and you had the chance to spend your week at a luxury resort with plenty of amenities. But now, the buy-in amount can be upwards to $8,000, $10,000 or $25,000 or more. And that doesn’t include plenty of fees; utility fees, maintenance fees, resort fees…..well, you get the picture. These fees can be anywhere from $500 to as much as $1,000 per year.
But the up and coming vacation memberships are affordable up front, with no ongoing fees of any kind, and have a variety of destinations to choose from, anytime you want to vacation at luxury resorts at hundreds and thousands of vacation spots. Most are either a condo, a villa, or a high-end, well furnished cottage. Places to go, things to do and people to see. Have fun!
Discover The Best Of Luxury Resorts
Whether you want a relaxing weekend getaway, or a whole week of vacation, there is an endless list of luxury resorts awaiting you to choose from. All you need to do is decide where you want to go. You don’t even have to be too precise. Choose a general destination such as Mexico, or the Caribbean and your search will bring up the choices for those areas, then you can narrow it down to specific areas.
I personally am prone to choose warm, tropical beach resorts. If that is appealing to you also, look into the South Pacific, including destinations in Hawaii, Fiji, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Australia and New Zealand. Or the Caribbean that has many choices such as the Bahamas, Bermuda, Aruba, Antigua, Dominican Republic, and the Virgin Islands. There is also the Mexican Rivera which includes Cozumel and Cancun. And even closer to home, think about a tropical beach luxury resort in Florida.
If you’re looking for a mountain top experience, consider Colorado with luxury resorts in Telluride, or world famous Vail or Aspen. No matter where your luxury resort vacation takes you, immerse yourself in the “luxury” and be renewed and refreshed.
Spoil Yourself With A Luxury Vacation
Whether it’s yourself, just the two of you, or the whole family, a luxury vacation
can be a wonderful experience. Of course, on the whole, you will be paying a bit more, but with some careful planning and goals, you can achieve a luxury vacation that is within a reasonable budget. And there are many advantages to taking that luxury vacation you’ve always dreamed of.
First, make a concise plan. Be clear as to what you want. Are you wanting a vacation that’s relaxing, healing, or full of adventures that you’ve never experienced before? What kind of activities do you want to include? Once you have your goals, it’s time to find a destination. There are many ways of finding the luxury vacation destination that will be fun and affordable. Travel club memberships are a good choice for paying a one time membership fee and giving you great discounts on 3 to 5 star luxury resorts where you can fulfill your vacation goals with many of the activities available within the resort itself. Have fun dreaming and planning for that wonderful, luxury vacation. You’ll be glad you did!
GREAT Time For Caribbean Vacations!
Caribbean vacations are a tropical, relaxing way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the everyday stress of life. You will be immersed in the warm tropical breezes that caress your skin. You’ll be amazed by the bright, crystal clear, aqua blue oceans, and white sand beaches. Take a moonlit walk on the beach as you listen to the sound of the surf coming to meet you as you walk. Relaxation extraordinaire. And if you’re looking for night time adventure, you can heat up the night with dining on local fare, and then dancing thr night away to Carribean marimba music and sway to the beat of Rastafarian Reggae music.
There are many ways you can plan for your Carribean vacation. However, a travel club membership has a lot of advantages. You pay a one time membership fee and then have access to worldwide destinations, including the Carribean islands. The membership offers you discounts on your accommodations at well known resorts, which helps you stay within a budget without sacrificing fun and adventure. As you search for the vacation of your dreams, research all the islands in the Carribean. Each island is different in what it offers as resort amenities and activities, as well as accommodations either directly on the beach, or a short distance from the beach.
Benefits Of A Resort Membership
Everyone likes and needs some “down time” to let go of stress, change the pace, and just plain enjoy life. Most families with school age children take a family vacation in the summer when the kids are out of school. As you make your vacation plans, look into a resort membership
that will give you many benefits for a relaxing vacation.
With money being tighter than last year, a resort membership allows you to take that “down time” vacation at an affordable price without sacrificing the fun. For instance, there are many discounts available on everything from meals to theme parks, from golf to horseback riding. A resort membership allows flexibility in how much or how little you want to spend. Remember how important it is to stop and smell the roses. It makes life a lot more enjoyable.
Where Can I Go For A Luxury Resort Vacation?
Spring is here. The weather is warmer; more sun and longer daylight hours. That means summer is just around the corner and the time when children are out of school and the family begins to think of vacation.
But where can you go that will appeal to adults and children alike? You know that a luxury resort
vacation would be ideal, with activities available for the whole family. So begin to research the places you would like to go that offer a variety of activities and amenities.
There are many locations around the world at luxury resorts that have activites for children as well as adults. Some even have planned, supervised children’s activities during the day, which frees Mom and Dad up for pursuing what adults like to do that may be considered “boring” to the kids. Wouldn’t it be nice to know that the kids are having fun and doing things that kids love to do, while you relax by the pool, read a good book, play some beach volleyball, or schedule a massage. A luxury resort vacation is just around the corner. Enjoy the relaxation!
What Is A Resort Membership?
Just about everyone likes to travel. In fact, trillions of dollars are spent worldwide on travel each year. People dream of far away places they would like to visit, but sadly most of those dreams go unfulfilled. The expense can be prohibitive.
There is a movement under foot though, for affordable vacations, using a resort membership. Resort memberships are available through resort and vacation clubs and vacation vendors. A resort membership makes taking a vacation affordable by charging a one time fee, and allows a lot of flexibility in destinations and times.
Have you dreamed of visiting countries in Asia, half way around the world? Or traveling to Europe, trekking through ancient history? Or how about visiting a tropical paradise or exploring the areas where Lewis and Clark blazed their trails across America? These and many more destinations await you through a resort membership. Dare to dream and find a resort membership that suits you to make that dream destination happen!
